The ACLC College of Baliuag Intramurals 2010
Opening and Awarding
Wednesday, September 29, 2010, a cloudy and partly rainy day to start the scheduled date for the intramurals.
Everyone is excited with this event because we will be witnessing the activities full of adrenaline. The parade of the four teams started with the Blue Pirates, followed by the Gold Titans, then the Red Knights, and lastly, the Green Spartans.
All the players, Muses and the members of each team formed their lines to assemble inside the Bustos Gymnasium. After the parade the program proper started hosted by Ms. Trinity Reyes and Mr. Ernest Timothy Flores.
The program started with the opening prayer led by John Pangilinan and Joan Rosales. Then the singing of the National Anthem and the AMA Hymn led by Princess Jane Mapoy came next. After that, the emcees called each team to show off their cheers for their teams. Each team really exerted effort for the cheers! Some made split, vertical jump and tremendous voices shouting their cheers. After all the cheers, the Administrative Assistant Ms. Jeck R. Mendoza delivered her opening remarks for the intramurals. Afterwards, the flags of each team were rise in the poles. After that, the torch parade led by Oneth Hipolito to mark the start of the game.
After the opening ceremony, the presentation of Muse and the Ms. Gay came next to the program where they ramp in front of the audience and the judges. The Hailed Ms. Intrams is from the Green Spartans while the Ms. Gay is from the Gold Titans. Indeed, they are really stunning and made the crowd shout so loud!
Next with the Ms. Intrams and Ms. Gay is the most awaited cheer dance competition in which all of the team really made a big effort. With just looking with their costumes, I can say that it is really exciting and will be fun to watch. The Blue Pirates came first. Followed by the Gold Titans and then the Red Knights which I belong and also I am a part of the cheer dance of the red knights. After our presentation comes the last performer, the Green Spartans. Well, after seeing all the performances, I am very confident that my team will be the champion. :D after the cheer dance competition, the ball games started to play! The Student Council Officers were very busy selling the tickets of their fund raising project – the CellPhoNalo, a cell phone raffle draw.
After two days of games in Bustos Gym, classes resumed by October 1. Because it is the first Friday of the month, a mass was held in our school. After that, the awarding of the winners of each event. Special awards were also given to those who have showed a great game in basketball, and volleyball. The Most Valuable Players were also awarded. As I was expected, in the cheer dance competition, our team was the champion! All the hard work is worth it!
At the last part of the awarding, Ma’am Trinity and Sir Ernest finally announced the Over-all Champion for the Intramurals 2010 which is the Green Spartans who got 195 points followed by the Red Knights with 186 point, then the Blue Pirates with 155 points and the least team is the Gold Titans.
Another Intramurals had passed. Till next year! ^^
